With all my UpPha mates telling me great stories about their experiences in the province, I am nothing more than excited to test my adapting skills and my patience (and to test if I can live alone) and to (probably and hopefully) enjoy a new environment. My greatest and only worry is having a decent rest room in our foster home. Who wants to pee in the field??
What I (want) wish for next month: - Bangles and Bracelets - wooden or beaded, made of chains, leather or laces, doesn't matter. I'm building my own accessories tree. :D
- 13 Seconds to Love - It's been years since I last longed for an album. Lifeline is promising.
- My Name is Earl - I'd love to have a box set of this. This is the next best show to Pushing Daisies.
See, I ain't picky at all. I'm leaving the expensive stuff to my family. ;) Labels: excited, wish
One Week Vacation

I think I got sick of being too organized and sticking to a schedule last semester that I just decided to go with the flow during my more or less one week stay at home. I know I want to achieve a lot, but instead of normally making a schedule to be able to accommodate everything in my short break, I just went with whatever's available and accessible. Here's a list of what I achieved so far: - Gantz. Finally finished this series. The anime's not as bad as the manga. It wasn't dragging and boring. I really looked forward to how they'll survive/die in each battle. (Oh dear, I enjoy violence so much) The blood and action made up for the slightly poor animation. If you ask me, the second stage was actually better than the first 13 episodes. Believe it or not, there is something to learn from all the morbid scenes.
- Bus Gamer. Now this is one big disappointment. This has a promising story but three 30minute episodes can't develop a story.
- Candy Boy. The good graphics and the misleading girl to girl action made me stick to the short ONA series. It wasn't that bad though.
- The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I've been wanting to see this. I thought the story would be possible in real life but seeing Benjamin on the piano as a young boy proved me wrong.
- Planet Terror. Yeah more violence and morbid scenes. This is one sick movie. When I saw the poster about two years ago, I was like, what's with the gun as a leg?? But being attracted to the falling guts, I sticked to the movie and realized that it's more enjoyable than I expected.
- Soul Eater, Nyoron-Churuya-san, Haruhi-chan, Kuroshitsuji. These are the ones which are still in line. I haven't finished downloading them yet.
- Get a haircut. I was hesitating at first since I was trying to see how long can I manage my hair. (usually I don't care about my hair) But my mom and the heat outside convinced me that it would be better for my stay in the province. I got my bangs back again.
- Packed for next week. Yeah, I'm that excited. No actually that's my mom's excitement. I'm actually planning to pack on monday night (para mas exciting) but my mom insisted to pack earlier. My mom has been denying her excitement for this immersion but how can you explain the fact that she unpacked my bag, and packed it again three times? She's even insisiting to check if I have clothes for the following weeks.
- Monopoly. I touched it again. But sadly I have no luck in this game.
- Monster Hunter Freedom 2. I stay up late for this. I finally reached something.
Yep, that's about it. I'm sorry Lord, I haven't been much of a good Christian too. I know I lost touch with my faith during the semester, and I think I'm still not ready to get back. I just feel that if I'm not really committed to serving the Lord, it's not right to force myself to. It's just as bad as not serving, right? Also, I haven't finished our internship module nor my duty to UPPha (that is the tribute and the multiply site). I can't fully blame my laziness though. My connection won't allow me to do much but chat. ;P If that's the case then how can I still explain the lack of contact with friends? haha. tamad lang talaga. or maybe bad timing. ah excuses! I swear. I'm gonna watch Soul Eater as soon as these damn exams stop coming. Also Kuroshitsuji and Ride Back and even Michiko. The (uber and unthinkable) multitasking that worked previously isn't applicable to the current semester. (I can't believe I did that with 136 and 128 last sem!) This sem was not as difficult as last semester (where tears after tears were shed, and a slight trigger could have pushed me over the edge and convinced me to shoot myself in the head) but the subjects required a clear, undisturbed head to be able to survive. Even Heroes couldn't make it through. tsk. tsk.

Psychoanalyzing people is (was) my secret hobby. For months and months, I've kept and endured the sad things that I've discovered from this hobby, but accidentally, I managed to spill the beans to my parents this morning. I felt pressured (by uhm everything) this morning and since I've been very private about my problems about life and school (yes, school has its own problem category), breaking down was my only option. Of course, everything I said was gibberish to them, and I even sounded a bit crazy to myself.
However, listening to myself and realizing how crazy I sounded gave me an idea on what I needed to do. All I needed to do was to let go. (yes naman) Upon accepting and knowing what I needed to do, I easily forgave and forgot. People (friends) will leave when they want/have to, and as a friend, I have to support and be happy for them no matter what. Being the friend that I am, by now (after years of experience) I should have already learned to give up on expecting something in return from people and accept the fact that not everyone is like me, and that some people won't really give a damn about me. Even though, I'm your friend, and I will always be here for you guys. Now the hardest thing is to keep that in my head and pretend I do, when it slips my mind. so I suddenly felt the urge to make an obligatory post-campaign post. at dahil tungkol sa campaign ito, magtatagalog tayo.
Aside from the campaign and stuff, this week was actually about feeling like a.... lady. haha. Last Wednesday, I was finally able to spend some time with my gal pals. Good food and sweet gossip are always a good combination. Super enjoy. For once, I wasn't holding back with my expressions and wasn't being too careful with my words, since girls would understand how other girls react. ;P
Don't get me wrong, I love my pharm friends to bits. I love my usual conversation with Kayla, and I love how she acts so girly about my life. And shockingly, my other friends couldn't have been more supportive of my current activity and acted like almost-perfect gentlemen this week.
In contrast to the whole lady experience this week, I saw Watchmen this afternoon with Ray. It was everything you imagined about the graphic novel although I do not think, it will be the movie of the year since many do not understand it. (I overheard people in the bathroom saying how they didn't understand the story) That is quite unfair for the watchmen as the production was so good and the actors were all perfect for their roles. I've Got the Rest of my Mind
Written on: Saturday, February 21, 2009
I hate myself for being addicted to the Killers for the longest time. Maybe because Day & Age didn't disappoint me like what other bands did. Curse you A. Turner! You disappointed me by saying you wanted to try acting. You were meant for the mic and the guitar. Don't worry, I still like you for your accent. XD
I finally lost interest with my 8 Happy Things. I realized I have about one to three main things to be happy about and really have to dig in for the rest. And who really cares about whether I am happy or not? Not really all can relate to that. And I can't tell the really fun stuff about my everyday life out in the public. Better yet, stop the nonsense. I might finish it with a final post, about 8 (or more) happy stuff that happened for all the remaining days altogether.
But since I am quite jolly today, I think I'm doing one right here. haha. See how ironic I can be. Here are the happy stuff that happened the past two weeks - where I left from the last happy day post...
1. The moon. It was lovely these past week. It was huge, bright and the clouds even surround it to form a sort of halo. For some reasons, its appearance calms me. It makes me remember how chan (sorry, can't get used to derick) used to update me about the sky.
2. How I recently cross pedro gil is funny. The stoplight in pedro gil is broken so the cars are most of the time out of control in that area. And since I do not want to die yet, it takes me minutes to cross the road on my own. Funny, 'cause I used to be so risky when crossing the highway.
3. God gave me a new set of sisters (Pi Rho Not) in school. Probably to make up for my biological one. Gives me a new outlet.
4. Okay, so I'm not totally psyched about running for batch rep, nor am I saddened by the idea. Rather, I'm glad to have something else to do to be able to shift my attention to something else. Plus, it'll finally have me involved in the college, after almost three years of staying.
5. Watchmen! omg it's the best. It ain't lenghty and is totally free of mega-branching plots that Marvel or DC comics have. Hearing that the movie took like 23 yrs to plan and make, and seeing the trailers myself, I am super excited to see this.
6. Going to Banahaw and living to tell my experience. I love looking at nature, I love the fresh air and I love green. I even love the thought of adventure. However, nature and I aren't meant for each other. I'd seriously die out there. The cave triggered a slight panic attack out of me and climbing 267 steps caused me to hyperventilate. Don't mention the long walks and climbing on unstable mossy rocks. I'm glad I fought the lampa inside of me and actually survived without any major injury. It was a fun experience though.
7. Not being able to attend PI100 classes for a week. I hate going to that class. It's a complete waste of time for me. Dropping it was an option but back then, I wanted to go try the Banahaw experience.
8. Heroes. I almost dropped this series as the first part of season 3 was a complete mess. The story went to nowhere and it ended horribly. I honestly thought Arthur would become unstoppable and everyone was doomed but no, Sylar is apparently stronger and was able to kill him. However, the second part of season 3 is starting out pretty well. Sure there is still some mystery about Noah and Angela, but in fairness, IT IS telling a decent story.
9. American Idol. Am I thrilled or am I not? Can't say yet. At least I am connected to the TV once again.
10. A recent shopping therapy was what I needed to loosen up some nerves. School and personal relationships have been nothing but stressful.
11. The solid hours of sleep that I've been sneaking once in a while have been life-savers, even if messes up my sleeping hours and sometimes my work.
12. I was making my upcoming-birthday list the other day and I was thrilled to be able to come up with cheaper alternatives to my expensive desires. It's a win-win deal I am making with my parents. Either way, I get something I like.
13. If chocolate's your happy food, mine's caramel. Be it a flavor for tea, in my coffee or with my fries. I've been having doses of caramel once in a while.
14. Isn't anyone else glad lab classes are finally coming to an end? Those are three hours off (each) from the daily school hours. Hello summer, I can see you at the far corner. Which reminds me, I really need to hit the gym soon.
Hope that makes up for the days I got tired of making a happy-day list.
